On Sunday, I took Kaelen and Haden to Sylvan beach for a little fishing. It was very laid back, this wasnt a high stressed boating trip where you can possibly sink and drown or get hit by a big ship after it takes over an hour to get the boat into the water and then get to wherever you are going. It was right off the shore, it was nice. Now, I do like to fish, for very short periods of time. I do not have the patience I did as a child, when my dad took me fishing. I dont have time to sit still and in one place for that long. We stayed a few hours and didnt catch anything! I almost got something, a fish or a crab, when i fished in the rocks, but nothing else.
It was cold and windy, but a good time was had by all. Christian got to stay home with dad. Here are a few shots.
This is my pole, I was trying to get the pole and the cork (the orange thingy), but because of all of my camera expertise, it didnt come out right
1 I dont hate comments!:
You need to hone your "pusing the shutter button halfway down" skills. That way, you can put the little square that autofocuses on your fishing pole, then depress the shutter button halfway until the camera beeps/the square turns green, then re-center your photograph (without letting go of the shutter button half way) then complete the shutter button depression.
Got it?
Actually, I have a Cannon point and shoot so I'm not sure all cameras beep or have a square that turns green.
