Toes, Movies and Cute Boys

So, a few weeks ago I got a pedicure..it was the first one I had in probably over a year...I got little flowers on them..arent they cute?

There is also a little rinestone in the middle if the flower...now I am at the point where I keep trying to peel the rinestone off...but it wont come! off! I dont think I will be getting that done anymore.....

and no, those are not dwarf toes...they are mine......

I snapped a pic of Christian one early evening when he fell asleep on the couch (about 6pm!) It was cute although I knew he would not sleep for the rest of the night and then would not go to bed!

So my random (sort of) question of the day is "Why are all of Tim Burton's movies exactly the same and why he is so weird? Whats the deal with him and Johnny Depp?"

OK, I guess they arent all the same..but still, they are weird...I thought Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline were by him but they werent...although they look like something he would do...

I am forcing myself to stop searching for documents for 5 minutes to post on my blog!

The last week or so has been crazazay..

** NKOTB concert, which i did get to blog about...was sick day before...ugh..but had great time at concert..

** Tuesday..body started taking revenge on me again and sinus's were going nuts...felt like crapola, stayed home...

** felt better the next day, went to work! Got free tics to Cirque de Soleil!

** felt worse on Thursday (day of Cirque) loaded myself up with meds..but had fun at show with BFF Special K and Big Sis B (if other nickname strikes your fancy, let me know!). We got to sit in the V&E Suite so it was great seats! and it made me feel special for like 30 seconds....got home and my truck was overheating (POC) and knew it had been making funny noises lately but really didnt give a #$(((!@&&*^luckily, it was just out of (yes, completely empty) of engine coolant..fixed that and that fixed the noise too!

**Friday...felt worse! worked butt off at work for deadline on Monday...

** weekend - no internet (guess I should start paying for it)..no Farmtown...no Facebook!! Oh the humanity!! hacked and coughed until I got a pain in my neck (literally)..bday party on Saturday...got all of Hadens school supplies on Sunday! 1 accomplishment...

** Monday...still not 100%...still have pain in neck...busy as &&(%#$@)_ at work, wanted to find a spot on the roof....dog peed on bed(what?!?!) after I cleaned all sheets and blankets this weekend...Christian now refuses to sleep in his bed (lovely)....my own fault I know....

Today..working like a crazy person...been working on this post for 3+ hours....

Things I havent mentioned but did happen..

The turtle egg didnt make it....

The next day the turtle ran away.....

Someone we all know or know about got out of jail...

Haden asked me what S-E-X was.....

Chris' step sister in law had a beautiful baby boy!

Christian has been fully potty trained for weeks...ne'er a pullup either....

I did get on the eliptical machine a few times!

My body is retaliating against me...sick..again..this time, coughing, fever (maybe), NO VOICE, headache...maybe it hates me for doing 16 minutes on the elliptical last night....maybe this means I shouldnt do it again!?!?!?!?!?!

And my phone wont call out...I can text, receive calls, email, receive emails, I just can not call anyone...stupid phone..I may try to drag myself out later and go to tmobile...maybe they would replace the blackberry? What do you think the chances are of that?


I am wondering if I should purchase this...think Poppa T would mind?

Step by Step

So..I know you have been DYING to know how the concert went...well?? It is "Officially Over" and tt was awesome!

We didnt get too many pics at least not of the guys....we "Click, Click, Click"ed and got a few of ourselves...these pics are from Chron.com.

My stomach was "Hangin Tough" after some mexican food and drinks thankfully, we didnt get any rain! and while we had a slight (slight) breeze, we could not forget it was truly "Summertime". It wasn't quite "2 in the morning" when I got home, but it was late. The show was great, different than the first, they played my fave "Click, Click, Click" but didnt play Becky's fave "Grown Man" so she was disappointed about that. This was their last show of the year, possibly forever? so they were a little emotional! The crowd was awesome! It was a great show, the guys definitely had the "Right Stuff".

Sigh..I am ashamed of my rant against Jon Gosselin. While I do not agree with his actions, I have been trying very hard not to be judgmental about people. They have to live their lives and do it their own way and make their own mistakes..nothing I can do about it...so, I have checked myself and apologize for calling him all of the names which I feel he truly deserves, but it isnt my place to say such things.

As I got on to blog tonight, I thought for a brief second I should change my background...but then I thought...I like it..the colors are good not matter what time of year...ya know, red, white and blue were the colors at my wedding...

Movies I have seen lately..

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - this movie was outstanding...I boo-hooed though..it was really good...and I have a new found respect for Brad Pitt...this movie made me realize he is a diverse actor and he is more than a pretty face, even though he is married to that really ugly woman, I forget her name now....she is kind of unknown..

Love in the Time of Cholera - this has Javier Bardem in it, who was in No Country for Old Men and who looks like Denny on Grey's Anatomy...it was good except the main actor was constantly having sex with tons of women....so, all in all, pretty good....

Beverly Hill Chihuahua - this is is pretty stupid, which makes it funny...the kids love it and I thought it was cute....I am kind of partial to Chihuahua's.

***Christian is a pee peeing champion...still only about in third place though for poopooing....still having accidents....ughhh...and as I write this he is barking like a Chihuahua....

***9 days until the NKOTB concert! I am so excited....sigh...Karen, Becky and I..we are going to have so much fun!!!

***I finished my picture wall...all of the frames have pictures of my family in them, not some picture frame models...maybe I should have left them in and told people we were related...or even better that I took the photo....

*** Thank God Michael Jackson is finally in his coffin and the world can move on to much more important things...like the countdown to when New Moon opens and if Kristen Stewart is actually pregnant with Rob Pattinson's baby....


Other than that, just the usual chaos here at the Tyson household....there are still 19 loads of laundry to be washed, dried and folded....the kids are still destroying everything, hitting each other and throwing cars at each other and the dog...Kaelen still has a major attitude and knows more than you....Im still not sure the Sago Palm will make it, it is turning yellow in some parts...

so there ya go....

One Year..

So, had I not looked at BFF Almost 34 K's blog, I would never have known that I too, have been blogging for a year. My first post was on July 4th of 2008. Check it out here.

So, because of the 4th, the best holiday of the year, if it wasnt for this holiday, this blog or any other blog may not even exist. Independence. Freedom.

Lets pray that the independence and freedoms we enjoy now, we will continue to enjoy forever.

So, our plans for this day...

Nothing, Nada, Zilch...Poppa T is working today, oh what fun he will have in the ER!!!

We started our day chasing down Haden's pet turtle, Rex Army Tyson, in the neighbors yard.

We built a pen, but he is still finding a way to climb out. Thats one tricky turtle. Then he pooped in my truck...have you ever seen a turtle poop? Not much different than anything else pooping, but in a smaller amount, thanks goodness.

That was his revenge for us tracking him down yet again and keeping him from escaping back into the wild where he really longs to be. So, I decided I deserved to treat myself to a Grande Caffe Mocha after that.

Then we came home and here I am, blogging, which makes me happy since I havent been doing much lately.

Today will be spent like every other day off I have...cleaning..I am this close to getting caught up with laundry...I believe though I have come to the point where I really dont care whether my house is clean...I spend hours every weekend cleaning, and then by Sunday evening, it looks that same as it did when I started.

So, I guess as long as the dishes are done and laundry is clean, I am ok.

Happy 4th , my friends...

So the last week has not been a good one...

My Auntie Dennis passed away early last Sunday morning. Her funeral was on Tuesday. She was only 50.

My cousin's fiance died unexpectedly today after an injury. She is devastated. Please pray for her.

Sigh....work has sucked since I have been behind. It is still really hot.

But it did rain on 2 days! AND Christian is pretty much potty trained! My kids are good!

I was trying to think of more positive things but nothing is coming to me....

Oh well..I am usually pretty positive so I can be a little blah.....

BUT I did get a good pic to add to my humilating pictures book




Kaelen fell asleep on the couch and was out cold....Chris brought in the stuffed animals...priceless.....
