Also, we had EAS (Efficient Attic Systems) come and give us an estimate....not good...we need a ton of stuff to get our attic to the recommended standards...ours is currently at 18%...thats pretty bad! No wonder our electric bills are so high and the house is so hot! If anyone knows someone who does that kind of thing for cheaper, let me know!

"Idiots Walk Amongst Us" Tuesday

On the way home when I do most of my thinking, I came up with a brilliant idea. I will try to theme my blog, maybe it will prompt me to actually blog. So Tuesdays will be "We are surrounded by idiots Day". I will post things stupid people say or do. I could do this everyday, but guess I will keep it to one day.

Most of the idiots I post about will probably be political, as govt seems to be where the stupidest people flock.

So, here are the todays golden nuggets:

Who Can it be Now?

Hey all. I can't believe I have not blogged in almost a month. I have been so distracted...mainly with work....we are very busy and I am staying late more often.

Not too much going on in the Tyson household (thank goodness). Chris and I are going to be trying our hand at putting insulation into our attic this weekend. Good time to start too, temps are supposed to be 98-99. Should feel pretty good up there.

Movies I have seen recently that I recommend:

The Road - sad and depressing, but good...makes you realize you should never forget how lucky you are to have food, electricity and clean drinking water

District 9 - ok, this movie freaked me out. Just weird to watch..I get the symbolism and all, but still weird....you should see it just to say you have, it actually got nominated for Best Picture at the last Oscars...make you appreciate not having to live in South Africa (or amongst extra terrestrials)

Toy Story 3 - I dont think Pixar can ever go wrong....this is such a good franchise...this last one was just as good as the others....if you are a woman, get ready to get a little choked up...makes you appreciate your toys.

One day they will hate you....

Sigh...I love my boys, they can be a handful, but they are so sweet and love me so much....I am going to appreciate all of the cute things they do now, becuase I know one day they will be plotting my death..

We had an appendicitis scare yesterday with Haden..he had most of the symptoms and even the doctor was concerned..he seems to be all better today....so when we decided things looked good this morning for him to go to school, he says "So, does this mean I dont have Independix?"

Sigh..so cute, so young...

Drugs are awesome, ya'll!!

I am friggin tired today. I was actually in some deep dreaming sleep when the alram went off, started incorporating it into the dream...took me forever to be able to move my arms...I was dead...thats hasnt happened in 100 years....my body actually got sleep and is making me suffer for waking it up so soon....





For those of you who have seen my Facebook about my weight loss, just so you know, I used an appetite suppressant to help me lose weight...I dont consider that cheating, just dont...It has helped me tremendously...and I have found when I do not take it, I am still able to maintain my eating habits, that is eating better and smaller portions....i still have a good 20 pounds to lose, so I am hoping to stay in the groove and continue to lose....I recommend it highly to anyone who is having trouble losing and doesnt have any health problems....It was prescribed to me by my GYN...thanks doc!

My camera is crap.

So, I had to get a little point and shoot because the lenses on my Canon broke and I havent got around to getting a new one. Here are some baseball pics and some pics of Christians preschool end of year musical. Pics taken inside are crap on this camera. These were the best I could get, I cant tell you how many I deleted because they sucked so bad.
